Summers here

Its been along while since weve added any news and that's because its been a very busy year.
Currently working on some wonderful projects. We are mid way through the roofing of the second stage of St Augustines Church in Ramsgate . This is a famous Grade 1 listed church which is often refered to as `Pugins last master piece`. We are also working on a beautiful Grade 2 listed mansion in Broadstairs. Despite the economy still being poor we seem to be finding lots of interesting work..long may it continue!

Below is a video on Kent peg tiling in which one of my tilers can be seen at work on a farm house in Brenchley. This is a few years old and Steve is still with me. Albeit a bit fatter and balder:-)

HAPPY NEW YEAR

Well cant believe another year has passed. Had a good year and some intersting projects last year. This year looking very busy indeed and we are now taking bookings from the end of May onwards!

We have several interesting projects booked in including finishing the first stage of St Augustines Churc Ramsgate now that the stone masons have finished their work.

Im also working with architects and Keymer tiles on a project that will use 250000 new Kent peg tiles.
The new Kentish house will be loosely based on the design of oast houses but with a modern Arts and Craft twist. Some of the detail I have never seen before and we have had to make full scale models at Keymers workshops to see how the peg tiles work on different elevations. Its been fun and challenging so far, now I just hope I get awarded the contract to see the project through to its conclusion. More images and details to follow.
